The Ouachita Hosta & Shade Plant Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt educational organization formed exclusively to promote knowledge and interest in hostas and shade plants, to foster development of new and improved hosta and shade plant varieties, and to encourage cultivation and usefulness of hostas and shade plants in the landscape.

Membership Benefits
Membership benefits include special sales of new hostas and other shade plants, and gardening supplies, plus wholesale prices on plant markers, and discounts on purchases at participating nurseries.
Members also receive periodic newsletters. OHSPS membership includes affiliation with the Dixie Regional Hosta Society.
